I beg to differ. Seymour had clear, intense, and hilarious mother issues. Kefka had no visible issues besides the, you know, the murder. That makes him a far more intimidating leader - you don't know what he's going to do but it will end in your death. You have no choice but to obey or risk a death you stand no chance of predicting and avoiding.

What I'm saying is, some men just want to see the world burn.

Ronny Corbett once promised to stop telling jokes about his producer's alcoholism because it's wrong to make fun of another man's religion.

To start, I was confused by your posting this on my profile. I didn't know what you were referring to until I checked your profile and found the "The Kefka '04 Campaign" picture; by replying directly to the comment I left there, you would have made it waier to tell you were rebutting my opinion.

As for your response itself, I looked up Kefka Palazzo on the Final Fantasy Wiki ( [link] ) and found detailed information about him, though of course it could never compare to actual gameplay experience. According to the site, though, Kefka "snapped" at a banquet or other formal event and lost his grip, though he was kept as a court magician by the king; perhaps some signs of his growing instability became increasingly apparent after this time. I do agree with the last line about some people being simply sociopathic and/or nihilistic. As I stated earlier, I've only played FFX, and while I've recently started Dissidia: Final Fantasy and hpe to learn some more about the heroes' and villains' characterization, I have not yet encountered anysignificant parts of the story that specifically concern Kefka. (I've finished Destiny Odyssey VII - Cloud's - and am currently working on IV - Cecil's.)

In any case, thank you for your response. Straight-up debates such as this one are always better than fan-obsessive "OMG u liar Seph is bettar" and similar responses - and the writers make fewer typographical errors when they plan out their responses, which makes them more legible and therefore more appealing to read. I hope you have a good day (or night - it's 11:15 PM for me right now). Goodbye, for now at least.

Thanks for the fave :D

You're welcome! If only I could make a GIF of Tails Doll pointing and laughing Kefka's laugh, I'd use it as my avatar... Oh well, I can dream. XD
:iconyagton:
XD That sounds like it would be kickass

Actually, I'd try to make it look a little cute and/or childish; Tails Doll is a doll, after all. Besides, wouldn't a "Gimme huggles!" Tails Doll seem even more freaky?

If only I could draw...
:iconyagton:
Naw, I think it doing the Kefka laugh would be freakier.

Hey, I know how you feel - I can't draw worth crap.
